Alison Stansfield-Franks
Creative Director

Alison spent a large part of her career working on brands that compete in the same category as many Unilever brands. During her time at Y&R, she was involved on the Colgate Palmolive South Africa & Africa account and worked on their Oral Care brands including Colgate Toothpastes and Plax.

She also worked on StaSoft from their Home Care portfolio as well as their Protex and Palmolive Personal Care brands.

At Saatchi & Saatchi, Alison was Creative Group Head on the Proctor and Gamble business, responsible for their Pampers, Head & Shoulders and Olay brands.

She has also worked on a number of FMCG brands outside of the personal and home care categories. These include Nando’s and Kerrygold as well as the Cremora, Dolce Gusto and Nescafé for Nestlé. Alison also worked on Danone’s brand portfolio of UltraMel, Inkomazi, Yogi-Sip, NutriDay and Activia brands.

During her tenure at Saatchi and Saatchi Dubai Alison was regional Creative Director IMEA, responsible for the Aerial account in Egypt, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa and India. The position required her to oversee all creative work for the region as well as personally working on briefs.

Derek Postmus
Creative Director

Derek’s experience extends across multiple consumer touch points and includes brands as diverse as Glad, Energizer Batteries and Torches as well as Henkel’s Pritt and Pattex glues, McDonald’s and McCain Frozen Foods. He also worked on Johnson & Johnson’s Personal Care portfolio including the launch of Clean & Clear and Savlon as well as Schick razors and grooming products.

In his capacity as Creative Director at DDB South Africa, Derek worked extensively on the Knorr brand in both South Africa and across various African regions. This included the launch of the Meal Solutions range and the launch of Knorrox Spicy Tubs in this country.

Derek also worked on local campaigns for Aromat, Mrs Ball’s Chutney, Marmite and Knorr Cooking Cubes while his regional work for Knorr included the launch of new flavour variants for Knorr Packet Soups and Cooking Cubes.

Derek has worked on a number of brands for the Pan-Africa region including Mobil, 

MTN and Philips.

As Executive Creative Director at Cheil, he was also responsible for the creative output of the entire Samsung Electronics portfolio of products in South Africa and across the African continent.


Danie de Wet

Quality Assurance

Over 25 years in the industry has lead to a wealth of experience in all disciplines of advertising, be it in the traditional, experiential or digital space. 

Danie has worked as Creative Director in most of the big international groups such as Saatchi & Saatchi, Young & Rubicam, Brand Activation, Ogilvy Africa and Dentsu Aegis.

His experience includes well known brands such as Pond’s from Unilever, Nestlé Purina, Colgate Palmolive toothpastes, shampoos and beauty soaps, Clearasil skin care, Clover Danone yoghurts and soft cheeses, all SABMiller brands, Ceres fruit juices, All Gold sauces and jams, various wines brands from Stellenbosch Farmers Wineries, Douglas Green wines, Schweppes soft drinks and Rowntree’s chocolates amongst others.

A four year stint in East Africa started an African experience that lead to Danie working on most SABMiller brands including various in-country brands, DStv and GOtv, Puma Energy Africa, Caltex, International Distillers and Vintners, Kimberly Clark, Zantel, Serena Lodges and Hotels, Toyota and Suzuki all over East, West, Southern Africa and even Mauritius, both in-country and from agencies in South Africa.
